There are currently around 140 land based casinos in the UK. The vast majority reside in various large cities and towns and are known as provincial casinos.
By and large, these casinos are relatively modest in terms of money gambled and are dwarfed by the sums gambled in the capital, London.
Rather than list every casino in the UK, we have focused our attention on London casinos, primarily because they are better known and are probably the most interesting in terms of cash 'drop' and where some of the world's famous people regularly visit.
